The first half of 2025 began with a slower pace in the commercial aircraft business, and we’re now seeing the kind of growth we’ve been preparing for take shape. Things are picking up, and the end of 2025 and the start of 2026 look strong.
As I’ve said before, we’re ready for it. We made the investments back in 2019 to handle this growth, and that preparation is paying off. In the meantime, the increases we’ve seen in Space, Military, and general composites have more than made up for the delay. It’s made 2025 a very busy and unique year.
Our additive manufacturing business continues to amaze me. It’s taking us into industries I never imagined Airtech would be part of. The growth of our pellet resins and the addition of the Kimya filament line have really expanded what we can offer.
We’ve also acquired a nonwovens company in the UK, now called Airtech Nonwovens, which has made us stronger in the geotextiles and cured-in-place pipe markets and has boosted our breather production capacity.
This kind of diversification has helped us fill the gaps and keep growing into related industries with confidence. Being family-owned and operated since 1973, that growth means a lot to us and to our customers, because it reflects the strength and stability we’ve built over time.
That strength has carried us through the past five years and proven that we can rise to any challenge. Our global team takes great pride in that.
Thank you for the continued support and trust you’ve placed in our team around the world. We’re looking forward to the rest of 2025, and we’re getting ready for an exciting 2026.
Sincerely,
Jeff Dahlgren
